Count the Voids
Count the Voids! How many could there be?
You have to count them all to send the back to Somewhere Else, before the outbreak can no longer be contained! Inspired by everyone’s favorite Mario Party mini-game! Increment and decrement your counter once they appear, but be sure to have the correct number of Voids counted when time runs out!
Controls:
- Increment Counter: Left-Click, Scroll Up, or D
- Decrement Counter: Right-Click, Scroll Down, or A
Created and submitted for the Black Cat Jam.
I ended up not getting as much done as I wanted due to illness, but I plan on continuing this project beyond the jam. There's lots of fun features and cool mechanics I had in mind that just could not make it in this time unfortunately.

As a proud owner of a void, I approve this game
I feel a little silly for not putting together that right-clicking the mouse will click the number back down, but me freaking out made for good TV so...Very impressed by the style of the game! I love the look of all of these rooms, and the ethereal bubbly look of the voids is so cool looking!

I know a lot of time and effort goes into making videos showcasing tiny indie games like this. It makes me really happy watching a stranger playing and enjoying my game. That's why I make them!
There is more in the future for Count the Voids, I've just been hit hard with the real life hammer this last half-year. I hope you come back and play some more when further updates are posted!
